A DESIGNED & HANDMADE AUDIO ISOLATION PLATFORM.. ONE FOR THE SERIOUS MUSIC AUDIOPHILES !? Designed to isolate turntables, speakers and all other types of audio electronic components. (including but not limited to).. amplifiers/ speakers/ audio mixing units etc. also).
Made of Pure & solid Beech block (Butchers type block).. The solid Blocked staves of Beech Block (binded together.. & highly treated, Create an immensely stable, and solid 'oversound' absorption platform..
The timbers are also treated and finished with multi layers in a satin oil.. making the board exteriors tough & 'knock or scuff resistant' for durability, But also simultaneously NOT.. affecting the Sound absorption & audio qualities needed on the board. Due to this coating, they are also heat resistant, and also water resisistant to a high degree also. (light spillages..?- Give a quick wipe, No Problem!).
The units have seperated & integrated isolators. These are Specially designed, and 'audio -specific' Audio absorbant Isolating feet.. Effectively creating a '3- Tiered system' of excess sound absorption.
Normally, all turntables models are designed with precision to pick up even the tiniest variations from grooves and vibrations via their stylus heads. However, resonances from underlying surfaces can often find their way into the musical reproduction harming the clarity of the soundstage.. (i.e. what finally exudes from the speakers)!.
So, 'THE G-Style Isolation shelf', effectively takes the turntable’s underlying surface out of the equation, (which can often be ultimately very harsh on, hence affecting sound qualities produced..) and any excessive noise pick-up & reproduction re-absorbed & eliminated. Hence thus enabling cleaner playback, and musical details to be finer, much more 'finessed audio', and more musically expressed, and ultimately appreciated.
The isolators (special isolating feet) are partially recessed into the butcher block. Then also have another 'layer, of rubber backed - circular felt' layer to take even more subtleties of sound out.. and then fastened into place for a strong connection to the butcher block Timber itself. (Being a standard 39-40mm in thickness). The 'Three- Tiered' absorption system as described, consists of a top isolator, (being the main sound blockboard), middle isolator (The 'felt-topped' brass/silver/ black' feet with mid Rubber piece) and The final absorption circular rubber base 'foot-absorbing ring'. Which seperates the Whole.. unit yet.. again.. from the final base surface/ substrate.
“The full & final" isolation is a result of the way the three parts work together, so also, there is not a single path connecting the live equipment to the supporting surface. It is the shape, durometer and material characteristics of the Isolators & Board together, that Isolate so well. The isolators are absorbing the vibrations so they do not resonate through or reflect off the hard supporting surface.”
